Director of Brand Management

 

The Director, Brand Management at The Honey Pot oversees all marketing commercialization efforts to scale our product portfolio and is the center of all things brand. This role will manage the Brand team that oversees new product GTM, change management and product lifecycle to increase sales, drive brand value and customer adoption. The role will guide omni-channel marketing planning and budgeting with Acquisition and Retention across product launches, marketing campaigns, and change management. As such, this role will bring the brand to life for the consumer in a meaningful and dynamic way. The role will work with The Honey Pot’s Digital Team and Product Innovation to assess the needs of existing customers and prospects, amplify brand presence and identify new strategic opportunities within core and future categories. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, and experience leading projects across a matrixed organization.

 

o Develop, manage & mentor the Brand team into a best-in-class function that charts the growth of existing and new product portfolio

o Guide omnichannel marketing strategy, budgeting, and planning across the portfolio to drive revenue & sales growth, brand affinity, product NPS, and product retention & LTV

o Own commercialization of new products, including go to market planning, creative briefing, and campaign execution to deliver against marketing goals

o Manage core product portfolio updates, including expansions, reformulations, and packaging refreshes

o Partner with Digital, Social, Sales and Product Innovation teams to assess the needs of existing customers and prospects, and identify new marketing strategies for each

o Effectively manage the Brand Management budget in partnership with Marketing and Finance

o You put the consumer first and use data and intuition to make informed decisions

o You thrive in a high growth and nimble environment that requires an ability to learn and adapt quickly

 

What You Need:

o BS/BA, preferably in Marketing, Business or Communications field. MBA preferred. Equivalent experience also accepted.

o 5+ years of experience in Brand Management, Product Marketing or Marketing-related field preferably in CPG

o Strong Commercial experience

o Longstanding experience managing P&L

o A track record of launching CPG products that achieve marketing and business goals

o Proven ability to develop a high-caliber team of Brand Managers who are motivated to achieve their best

o Expertise guiding strategic decisions and gaining buy-in across multidisciplinary teams

o Deep understanding of commercial focused businesses, performance marketing, and digital KPIs

o Exceptional writing and presentation skills
