What you will be doing:

• You will be working closely with Android, iOS, Frontend, and Backend engineers to test new features/functionality in an effort to maintain a high standard of quality
• You will own the release process with the rest of the QA team from planning and pre-release testing to execution and delivery.
• You will build a large knowledge base of how our mobile applications, frontend pages, and backend APIs all work together and leverage this expertise to inform detailed testing strategies
• You will participate in various scrum meetings that include daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives

What we are looking for:

• Someone who has strong communication skills and is able to break barriers between technical and non-technical people
• Someone who has worked with a mobile development team in the past utilizing tools such as XCode, Android Studio, Charles Proxy, Postman, Jira, Git, and Confluence
• Someone who asks questions and wonders why certain functionality behaves the way it does with the goal of understanding how different technologies work together
• Someone who thinks outside the box when it comes to solving problems and figuring out how to reach an end goal with the path isn’t so obvious
• A proactive individual who likes to take initiate and pushes to get things done
