Position: Data Analyst

Reports to: Head of Data Science

Location: Remote

The Data Analyst will be the strategic partner with expertise in analytics to a variety of teams across the organization. You will be the leader in experiment design and analysis, diving deeper into the data to understand how we can improve the business as a whole. You'll join our growing data science team with a wide breadth of skills in analytics engineering, data science and their applications, working in close collaboration with data-driven Product, Marketing, and Customer teams to make a company-wide impact.

What You'll Do:

• Become a subject matter expert on parts of Ritual's business and its data.
• Partner with stakeholders in Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to help streamline their reporting, and create value from multiple data sources.
• Effectively communicate findings and feedback to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work within the Data Science team to govern our analytics environment, empowering our stakeholders to leverage data and insights.

What You Need:

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in a technology centered company.
• 1+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau with Looker preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, preferably working with Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, and transformation platforms such as dbt.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
• Experience with web analytics and funnel optimization is desired.
• Some experience with Python in the workplace.
• Data science and machine learning model building experience, with interests in broader e-commerce projects such as recommendation engines, attribution modeling, demand forecasting, LTV modeling and customer segmentation is welcomed.
