About Alloy

 

Alloy is a new direct-to-consumer women’s health company founded by Anne Fulenwider (former Editor-In-Chief of Marie Claire and Project Runway Judge) and Monica Molenaar (co-founder of cult food brand Seed + Mill) to improve the health and wellbeing of women over 40 seeking solutions to the symptoms of aging, starting with menopause. Alloy is driven to improve women's health and the cultural conversation around women in the prime of their lives and has assembled a team of high-profile, nationally recognized experts. We are seed funded by Kairos HQ with a commitment to lead the Series A. We are set to launch in November 2021 and will provide direct access to healthcare providers as well as the medicine and other products that serve women best.

 

What is the role?

 

We are seeking a passionate and accomplished CRM and Email Marketing Manager responsible for owning end-to-end completion of Email and SMS marketing initiatives. You will own day-to-day execution and operations of our email marketing program. While the position is work from home during COVID, we are seeking someone who will be able to join the office in New York City once the world recovers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and implementation plans for lifecycle, triggered, and enhanced personalization emails; set goals to meet overall channel revenue and performance targets for email and sms
  • Lead email/CRM strategy execution, establish and track goals, meeting diverse business and market needs, and leveraging data and insights.
  • Manage ongoing optimization of program KPI's by designing comprehensive, measurable A/B testing methods
  • Monitor and report key metrics including email delivery, unsubscribe rate, email metrics, and business metrics
  • Manage the email marketing calendar and work with team to execute against it
  • Clearly communicate key learnings, actionable hindsights, and recommend new opportunities to leadership
  • QA all emails, ensuring all links, images, subject lines, and list segments are accurate and working properly
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and best practices

 

Experience:

 

Ideal candidates will have experience making data driven marketing decisions, driving consumer product conversions and retention, a track record of recognizing patterns of success (and failure) quickly, building and managing scaled marketing teams and is skilled working cross-functionally.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in email, mobile, and/or engagement marketing experience, preferably at a high-growth consumer brand
  • Expertise in creating and managing marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Experience running A/B tests and providing actionable recommendations
  • Experience in the health or wellness sector is an asset but not a requirement.

 

 

Skills:

 

  • Strong understanding of Email Service Providers & Testing platforms and Customer Data Platform Technologies
  • Experience working with multiple marketing channels and compliance considerations for each (CAN-SPAM, double opt-ins, etc)
  • Strong understanding of CRM platform metrics
  • Proficient in coding emails in HTML and CSS
  • Comfortable with querying and logic (SQL knowledge a plus)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally to achieve results aligned with company objectives.
